Cows To Say Goodbye on
August 3
The famous cows of San
José "Cow Parade" will
say goodbye on Sunday,
August 3rd, with a
parade along Paseo
Colón.
The activity is for the
enjoyment of the whole
family and for a chance
for people to see all
the cows, according to
the directo general of
the Cow Parade, Mariano
Morelli.
Some 60 of the cows will
then go up for auction
on September 3rd, which
are valued at between
us$2.000 and us$7.000.
In other cities, the
cows have sold at
auction for more than
us$50.000, though it is
unlikely that the San
José cows will sell for
that, as many of the
cows have been damaged
by passersby, some to
the extend that they had
to returned to the shop
for a makeover and
veterinary checkup. |
