Will Allow Astronauts To
Make Coffee In Outer
Space
Thanks to an ingenuity
of a group of students
of the ngeniería en
Mantenimiento Industrial
del Instituto
Tecnológico de Costa
Rica (TEC) , astronauts
can soon be brewing
coffee in outer space.
The "space infusor"
developed by the
students and in
conjunction with the Ad
Astra Rocket Company of
former NASA astronaut
and Costa Rican,
Franklin Chang, will be
presented Friday August
22 at the Centro de
Transferencia
Tecnológica (CETT).
The device, in simple
terms, can also be used
to develop new medicines
and as a "coffee maker".
