Honduras to Store Oil in Transnationals Tanks
Despite the opposition of US oil transnationals Exxon Mobil, Chevron and national company DIPPSA, the Honduran government ratified on Sunday it will temporarily use reservoirs of those ventures to stock the crude it will import.

Saturday, President Manuel Zelaya announced that his administration will rent those installations in 2007 to import over eight millions of barrels of gasoline and diesel bought to Conoco Phillips firm.

Zelaya warned the government had to decree the temporal use of the oil terminals of those companies after three weeks of negotiations over the use of the facilities, which hindered official plans to reduce the price of the fuel.
