No Commissions Charged
for Remittances to Perú
In the face of the
devastating earthquake
in Perú, Teledólar and
other remittances
companies operating in
Costa Rica, announced in
a show of solidarity,
they will not be
charging commissions on
money transfers to Perú.
Teledólar normally
charges a flat rate of
u$4 on any transfers to
Perú.
The no fee policy will
continue to September
18.
Carlos Vargas, financial
director of Teledólar,
said that the measure
was adopted to help out
in the difficult
situation of Perú.
