Venezuelan Airline Flies to
Middle East
Venezuela s flag airline,
CONVIASA, has linked South
America with two Middle East
capitals, Damascus and Tehran,
thanks to a recent agreement
with Syrian Arab Airline,
CONVIASA President Franklin
Fernandez announced on Friday.
The Venezuelan airline signed a
commercial agreement that will
benefit passengers from
Venezuela and South America
bound for the capitals of Syria
and Iran, the executive said in
a communiqué.
The agreement offers our clients
more destinations and
facilitatinges travels to an
interesting market for Latin
Americans, said the CONVIASA
executive.
CONVIASA s strategic alliances
also includes national airlines
Aserca and Santa Barbara, and
foreign airlines Iran Air,
Iberia, Grupo LAN, Taca, Cubana
de Aviacion, Avianca, Lloyd Aero
Boliviano and Lufthansa.
