A stunned Natalie Glebova of Canada was crowned Miss
Universe 2005, beating out finalists from Latin America in a
pageant watched by an estimated one billion people in 170
countries.
First Runner Up was Miss Puerto Rico, Cynthia Olavarria and
Second Runner Up was Miss Dominican Republic, Renata Sone.
Costa Rica's Johana Fernández, couldn't repeat last year's
showing of Nancy Soto's who was placed as one of the the
ten most beautiful women in the Universe.
