Guatemala Raising Concern
over Flu
Guatemala -
Guatemalans are increasingly concerned over
the spreading of the A(H1N1) flu virus,
which has already infected 119 people in the
Central American country.
Health Minister Celso Cerezo confirmed
another 23 victims, while other sources talk
of 230 cases nationwide.
The latest cases were reported in Escuintla,
Quetzaltenango, Suchitepequez, Guatemala and
Alta Verapaz.
Authorities have advised people to avoid
indoor places like churches, movie theaters
as well as outdoor places with large
concentration of people.
Early school holidays have also been
approved. |
