Managua - Nicaragua has
reported 13 new cases of A/H1N1 flu, raising
the total number of confirmed cases in the
country to 326, the health authorities said
on Monday.
According to the Health Ministry, 296 flu
patients have recovered and only 30 others
are still under medical treatment.
Among the 326 confirmed cases, 55 percent
were male, the ministry said.
The most affected group in the country were
people under 20 years old, making up of 73
percent of the total cases.
The capital of Managua continued to be the
most affected area with 80 percent of the
cases, while the remaining cases were in 12
provinces.
