CRISIS IN HONDURAS
Ambassadors Recalled from Honduras

Tegucigalpa - Several countries of Latin America and Europe decided to withdraw their ambassadors from Honduras showing opposition to the coup and urging the return of Constitutional President Manuel Zelaya.

In Latin America, Ecuador, Mexico, Colombia and Chile recalled their mission heads, with France, Italy and Spain following suit.

Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos will ask the European Union to adopt the same measure.

Among the organizations rejecting the coup are the UN, the Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas (ALBA), the Central American Integration System, the Group of Rio and the OAS.
