"Tocón" In the Hands Of Police
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police would be proud of the efforts of the Policía Montada (mounted police) of the Fuerza Publica which are the main guardians of the Parque Metropolitano La Sabana.

A 21 year old man, identified by his last names, Vindas Ramos, thought he could avoid being captured by police as he rode his bicycle through the park touching and groping women as they walked, exercise or took part in sports.

The man would choose mainly women who wore spandex and between 8am and 9am, getting to the park on his bicycle from his home in Villa Esperanza, Pavas.

On the lookout for attractive women, dressed in sports attire, the man would spring into action. According to the victims, he would hold his bike with one hand and with the other would touch their buttocks, breasts and other parts of their bodies and then speed off.

A number of women filed complaints, however, could only describe the style of his hair and bicycle.

Although they lacked a description of the man, the park's mounted police unit decided to put an end to the man's actions and on the alert gave chase to the man when he struck again, according to Edward Monastel, captian of the mounted police unit.
