 Guatemala, El Salvador: Customs Accord
Guatemala - Guatemala and El Salvador signed in the road border La Hachadura a Customs Union Agreement to allow free trade access between both countries.

The document was signed by Presidents Alvaro Colom and Elias Antonio Saca and it will be sent to the respective parliaments for its ratification and later implementation.

Colom described the ceremony as a firm step towards integration and assured that this is a day for celebration in all Central America.
