It's Cold Baby!
Although it is no 30, 40
or 50 below like in some
places in the northern
hemisphere, it has been
extremely cold in Costa
Rica over the last few
days, as morning
temperatures in San José
dipped to 14 Celsius and
daytime temperatures
were some 5 Celsius
below normal, more in
some places with a
daytime low of 20
Celsius.
Normal daytime
temperatures in San José
and the Central Valley
is between 28C and 30C,
night time 18C to 20C.
The Instituto
Meteorológico Nacional (IMN)
- national weather
service - said the cold
will be with us until
tomorrow (Friday).
The cold front that is
affecting the entire
country is fest more in
San José and Cartago,
where in addition to the
cold wind, there are
scattered showers making
things even colder.

José yesterday
