INS Won't Insure Properties in Central Valley
The Instituto Nacional de Seguros (INS) said t will not sell any more insurance policies for homes and buildings in Alajuela, San José, Heredia and Cartago until the "red alert" following last Thursday's earthquake is lifted.

The red alert for the Central Valley has led the INS not to expose itself to financial losses, leaving its customers high and dry.

No details on the decision were given.
