Education Minister And His
Long Hair
The ministro de Educación, Leonardo Garnier, says that his hair is a
"registered trademark" and that only his wife is allowed to cut and
trim it, who along with their daughters, decided how long it should
be.
Garnier sports his hair long, away from the tradition of a short and
trim haircut by government ministers and politicians.
Garnier said, in a interview with the daily Al Dia, for one he likes
to wear it long, and second his hair dresser is his wife, and that
their three daughters decide on the length.
Asked why he doesn't wear his hair in a pony tail, he quickly
answers, no way. The minister admitted that at one time he wore his
hair short, but never bald.
