Bolivia to Pay Tribute
to Pavarotti
LA PAZ - Bolivia is to
pay special tribute to
the deceased Italian
Tenor Luciano Pavarotti
on Thursday morning Oct
30 until Saturday Nov 1,
diplomatic sources
confirmed.
According to a report
coming from Italy
embassy premises to La
Paz, Argentinean Tenor
Carlos Vittori and the
director of the National
Symphony Orchestra of
Bolivia David Handel
will be the ones to
offer the concerts.
The agenda of
performances includes
six presentations in the
cities of La Paz and
Santa Cruz.
A year after the death
of Pavarotti,
Argentinean tenor is to
relive in this
opportunity one of the
world's greatest voice
of the opera singers.
Classical and grand
operas like "Clowns" (or
I Pagliacci) an opera
written and composed by
Ruggero Leoncavallo; "Nabucco"
(short for Nabucodonosor,
English Nebuchadnezzar)
and "Aida", by Giuseppe
Verdi; "The Barber of
Seville" (or Il barbiere
di Siviglia) by
Gioachino Rossini;
"Tosca" and "Turandot",
by Puccini; and "Rustic
Chivalry" an opera by
Mascagni are included in
the agenda of
performances.
