Nicaragua: Stop US
Blockade on Cuba
MANAGUA - The
Association of Cuban
Residents in Nicaragua
demanded the end of US
blockade on Cuba,
imposed almost 50 years
ago.
A report from ACR
recalls on October 29 a
new resolution entitled
"Necessity of ending the
economic, financial and
commercial blockade
imposed by Washington to
Cuba" will be once more
discusssed at UN
headquarters in Geneva.
This resolution, ACR
report reads, will once
again denounce US double
standard and and the
deep-seated contempt for
international right.
America is now living a
new era, with new
organizations like ALBA,
the Bolivarian
Alternatives for the
Americas, which is every
day more solid and gives
resounding successes, as
Che and other heroes of
the Revolution wished,
ACR report indicates.
