Milanés Advisor Detained In Luxemburg
The international police organization, INTERPOL, informed yesterday that they detained Costa Rican lawyer, Adolfo Somarribas Arias, in Luxemburg, where he was hiding out to avoid facing justice at home for fraud.

Somarribas was a former advisor to Luis Milanés who is currently in Costa Rica and being investigated for fraud of us$200 million dollars.

Milanés ran the high yield interest investment firm called Savings Unlimited. Milanés had gone missing for six years until a few months he was detained en route to Costa Rica, where he is currently free after posting a us$12 million bond, while he awaits the conclusion of the investigation and possible charges.

An international arrest warrant was issued against Somarribas in August. Investigators tracked Arias to Luxemburg, although the fugitive was often in France, Germany and Switzerland.

The Fiscalía ties Somarribas to fraud against the investors of Savings Unlimited. An estimated 2.600 investors lost money with the fall of Savings Unlimited.
