Gasoline Cheaper Today
The price of gasoline at
the nation's pumps is
cheaper today, thanks to
the first "real" drop in
prices since the price
of crude oil on
international markets
took a nose dive.
A litre of super
gasoline today costs ¢52
colones less than 24
hours ago, ¢46 for
regular and only ¢3 for
diesel.
The new prices at the
pumpt this morning were
¢640 for a litre of
super, ¢624 for regular
and ¢609 for diesel.
Another important drop
is to occurr in a couple
of weeks when gasoline
prices could drop ¢152
for a litre of super,
¢150 for regular and ¢87
for diesel, although the
Autoridad Reguladora de
Servicios Públicos (Aresep)
has yet to approve that
reduction.
