French-Colombian Ingrid
Betancourt, released by
the Revolutionary Armed
Forces of Colombia (FARC)
in July, will be
welcomed Saturday by
Bolivian President Evo
Morales.
This will be the former
presidential candidate's
fourth visit to a South
American country, as
part of a campaign for
the release of people in
the hands of the
insurgent organization.
She previously visited
Ecuador, Chile, and
Argentina, with Brazil
and Venezuela likely to
be included in her tour. |
