"Trashion Fashion" Event
Planned in Tamarindo
In order to raise money
to build a collection
site and raise awareness
among Tamarindo
residents, the Tamarindo
Recycles committee is
planning a recycling
fashion show event
entitled “Trashion
Fashion.”
The event is being
co-organized by local
designers Kata Kis, from
Papaya con Leche, Petra
Beuthner, of Uno Solo,
and artists Jaguart.
The fashion show will
feature original designs
from the artists that
are made from recycled
material. Some designs
will be extravagant and
over the top, while
others are items that
anybody can use or wear.
The Trashion Fashion
event will be held at
Bar1 on September 11
with music providied by
Fabrice Vanegas.
Bar1 will be donating a
portion of the bar sales
and additionally there
will be a raffle and a
cover charge benefiting
the Tamarindo Recycles
committee |
