Second Encounter of
Cuban Residents in
Nicaragua
The Association of
Cubans Residents in
Nicaragua progresses in
the preparations of the
second meeting of all
the nations of Central
America, its President
Rafael Ruiz indicated
Sunday.
During an encounter of
brotherhood and
information at Cuban
embassy to Managua, Ruiz
told members of the
community and officials
of the diplomatic
headquarter his
impressions on the
recently celebrated
Encounter of Solidarity
of Cubans Abroad,
celebrated in Havana.
Nicaragua will host the
second Encounter of
Associations of Cuban
residents in Central
America this year, that
will serve to reaffirm
the fight against the
blockade and the support
for the liberation of
the antiterrorist Cuban
Five unjustly imprisoned
in US for fighting
against terrorism, Ruiz
indicated.
Likewise, Cuban
ambassador in Nicaragua
Luis Hernandez
communicated that on
April 26 Nicaraguan
capital will host the
National Meeting of
Solidarity with the
island, an advance of
the encounter that
Central Americans will
celebrate in Panama this
