Plot
A projected strategy to
destabilize Bolivia and
attempt against the
government of Evo
Morales encourages
violence and clashes
among regions, local
press warned Friday.
According to the
Bolivian Information
Agency (ABI),
intelligence services
gave Morales details
about the plot by the so
called "Nacion Camba"
movement, from the
country's east.
That program,
authorities noted,
ignite confrontations
among regions, and uses
the issue of relocating
the capital, which has
brought about disputes
between the departments
of Chuquisaca and La
Paz, as one of the
arguments.
The destabilizing ploy
also would instigate
clashes between other
regions such as Oruro
and Potosi, ABI noted.
The plot strategy
intends to use the
defense of the autonomic
regime as a pretext, and
summon strikes and new
protests in areas of the
so-called Crescent,
which opposes the
executive.
