Honduras Recovers 24
Nicaraguan Bodies
The bodies of 24
Nicaraguans, 21 men and
three women, were
recovered Thursday by
Honduran settlers in the
western department of
Gracias a Dios, in
different keys of the
Nicaraguan Mosquitia.
Carolina Echeverria,
Gracias a Dios National
Congress deputy, said
the people were
traveling in a fishing
boat that was wrecked
during Hurricane Felix
Echeverria told radio
stations that more dead
people were likely to be
found in the area.
Honduran settlers have
given aid to more than
50 Nicaraguans who were
dragged by the Atlantic
Ocean waters after the
hurricane.
