Jacó To Inaugurate Beach
Cleaning Machines
The Central Pacific
Coast Chamber of
Commerce will
inaugurating a Beach
Cleaning Machines on
Thursday.
The inauguration
ceremony will take place
in front of the Best
Western hotel.
Operated by the joined
efforts of the Chamber
of Commerce and the Jaco
municipality, the new
beach cleaning machines
are expected to improve
the quality of Jaco's
beachfront.
Serving the entire
beachfront, the machines
will operate on a daily
basis to clean the sand
of small stones, trash
and drift wood. Beach
cleaning with the
machine, which are
pulled by a man-operated
tractor, will be
incorporated as a
function of the
Municipality to improve
the aesthetic and
cleanliness of Jaco.
As part of the "Todos
juntos por un mejor Jaco"
campaign, operation of
the beach cleaning
machines is a milestone
accomplishment for
recent efforts to
improve the local
quality of life in Jaco.
Both machines were
donated by DayStar
Properties as a part of
these efforts.
Tthe Minister of
Tourism, Carlos Ricardo
Benavides, will be
attending the ceremony
as well as other local
politicians.
