hosted the Central
America Travel Market,
an annual fair that
brings together tourism
sellers from the region
to promote their goods
and services to
international buyers.
The event is open only
to tourism wholesalers
and organized by the
Camara Nacional de
Turismo (CANATUR) for
regional sellers to meet
wholesale buyers from
Europe, Asia and Latin
America.
The Central America
Travel Market is a great
opportunity for Central
American tourism to
promote itself,
especially to European
tourism which is
responsible for us$358
million dollars in
revenue in Costa Rica
year each.
