El Salvador Urged to
Change Anti-Violence
Policy
Humanitarian bodies have
urged the Salvadorean
Government to
immediately change the
policy designed to
counter violence, which
killed over 2,976 people
in the first ten months
of 2007.
According to Nelson
Flores, from the Law
Application Study
Foundation, government
anti-violence policies
failed because they did
not give priority to
prevention and rather
promoted aspects of
force.

practical solutions to
