Honduran Ministers Turn
in Papers
Honduran President
Manuel Zelaya has in his
hands Tuesday most of
his ministers'
resignation requests, to
take some pertinent
measures before ending
this year or choose
those who will accompany
him by 2008.
About 24 officials from
the Government's
Cabinet, among
ministers, managers and
directors from several
dependencies, responded
to the request from the
president on Friday.
An official release
states that resignations
of the foreign minister
and ministers from the
Natural Resources and
Environment Secretariat,
Tourism, Technical
Secretariat of
Cooperation, the
Honduran Council on
Science and Technology,
as well as that of Work,
Industry and Trade,
Defense and Presidency
ministers are already in
the president's desk.
Those who will be
ratified in their
respective posts will be
revealed December 31. |
