Serial Rapist Behind
Bars
Riding his Vespa
scooter, a man
identified by only his
last name, Dávila, would
run around San José
zeroing in on is next
victim, mostly
adolescent girls, which
he would easily sweet
talk them to his final
goal of raping his
victim.
Complaints started
pouring in to the
Ministerio Público and
for several days became
the focus of a manhunt
by the Organismo de
Investigación Judicial (OIJ).
Yesterday, police
officials were able to
capture the man, who is
now behind bars on four
months preventive
detention while the
fiscalía (prosecution)
builds a case against
the man.

director, said that a
number of the victims
were able to identify
the man which led to his
capture.
The young girls were
taken to different areas
of Hatillo, Desamparados
and other San José
locations, all dark
areas where the 34 year
old man who then force
himself sexually on his
victims.
