Tourism Trade Show
Representatives of more than 150 tourist
wholesalers will meet with 295 Costa Rican
companies at Expotur 2007, the annual tourism
trade show held at the Herradura Hotel
Conference Centre.
This year the trade show will be on May 30 and
31.
The foreign firms come from the United States,
South America, Europe, and Africa, and 32% of
them hail from new markets for Costa Rican
tourism, according to the Association of Tourism
Professionals, who organized the conference for
the 23rd consecutive year.
According to data from the Association, us$130
million worth of contracts were agreed upon in
last year’s Expotur.
