Villalobos Decision Expected Tomorrow
The court decision on the trial of Osvaldo Villalobos Camacho, one half of the "Brothers" operation is expected tomorrow.

The judges said that the end of the trial two weeks ago that a decision would be forthcoming by September 16th.

The judges' decision is expected at 3:00pm in open court tomorrow, and can be attended by one and all, in the court building in downtown San José.

The expectations by many of the investors is that Osvaldo will be found not guilty on all charges. However, the defence lawyers say they are ready for an appeal if that is not the case.

It is uncertain what the effect of the decision will be on Enrique Villalonbos Camacho.

If Osvaldo is absolved of all charges, it would be a reasonable request to have all proceedings against Enrique dropped as well.

The most important of all charges, to the investors mostly, is the charge of money laundering.

If Osvaldo is absolved of that charge, then it reasonable to presume that the movement of investor money  can resume and investors can start receiving payments, even though Enrique Villalobos is not in Costa Rica.

But that is only speculation on the part of many and the first step towards that action is the court decision of tomorrow.

If found guilty on all charges, Osvaldo Villalobos could face up to 52 years in prison, as requested by the prosecution.
