Earthquake Hits Managua
An earthquake that reached 4.1 on the Richter
scale ripped North East region of Nicaragua,
with no human or material losses, official
sources reported Saturday.
According to a report from Nicaraguan Institute
for Territorial Studies INETER, Nicaragua was
struck Friday night, at 20:32 local hour, 97
miles North East of Managua, in the locality of
Estero Padre Ramos.
The 57-miles deep earthquake was related with
"fault local zones" belonging to Nicaraguan
Seismic Network, affirmed INETER experts.
