Gringo
and Donkey Denied Entry Into Panama
The
Spanish language daily, DIARIO EXTRA, has been
following the story of the "gringo" and his
donkey who have walked across Mexico and Central
America, headed for Panama.
Dunham and his donkey "judas" was denied entry
into Panama, not having the required vaccination
for his animal, according to Juan Diego, a
Panamanian immigration official.
The Gringo and Judas are now resting at home of
good samaritan Carlos Arguedas who has been kind
to offer him shelter and to help raise the us$80
to $100 needed for the vaccine.
Dunham said that from Mexico down to Costa Rica,
no country has asked for the vaccination.
