Slams US Policy from Vietnam
The
release of terrorist Luis Posada Carriles
corroborates the current US administration will
maintain its terroristic anti-Cuba policy, Cuban
parliament President Ricardo Alarcon warned here
Saturday.
"Releasing Posada Carriles and his cronies while
keeping five Cuban anti-terrorists imprisoned is
a sign that the US circles of power will not
change their stance towards Cuba," Alarcon
sustained.
The legislative leader made the statements in
meeting here with the president of Vietnam s
National Assembly, Nguyen Phu Trong.
In his reflections, the Parliament president
also stressed the current US policy towards the
island is more aggressive than previous ones,
and its political vision very reactionary and
revengeful.
"They intend to impose their ideology on the
world at all costs," he pointed out.
That vision represents a peril not only for Cuba
or Vietnam, but for all of humanity," emphasized
Alarcon, who is in this country as part of an
Asian tour that also includes China and Laos.
