Land Slide
Onto Highway Leave Two Children
Injured
A warning to all
motorists travelling
from Santa Ana to Escazú
on the autopista, as a
land slide dumped loads
of mud and rock on the
right lane of the
highway at the top of
the hill and only
visible once you are
close to it.
Friday night two
children were injured in
a multiple vehicle
collision minutes
following the land slide
and before the Policía
de Tránsito could get on
the scene to erect
warning barriers.
As of yesterday
(Saturday) afternoon
work crews has not yet
arrived to clean up the
debris on the road which
is causing a menace to
drivers.
Please use caution when
travelling through that
section of the road,
keeping to the left lane
and an eye on right lane
traffic that is forced,
without much warming, to
merge into the left lane
or plow into the land
slide. |
