Warning: Hurricane
"Dean" Could Affect
Costa Rica
The tropical storm
"Dean" is expected to
convert to a class 1
hurricane in the coming
days and it could affect
Costa Rica, according to
meteorologist Rosario
Alfaro.
The meteorologist was
clear that the hurricane
will not hit Costa Rica
but it will bring strong
winds and lots of rain,
especially for the
northern Caribbean
coast.
Though the final path of
the hurricane is not
clear, its closeness to
Central America will
cause heavy storms for
the area known as the "Vertiente
del Pacífico" and the
Central Valley.
Dean is the fourth
tropical storm of the
season, following
"Andrea", "Barry" and
"Chantal".
