The World Union Federation (WTU)
in the Americas called to
commemorate on Tuesday the
International Day of Campesino
Struggle with an integrated
spirit against neoliberal
policies.
Ramon Cardona, the top leader of
the entity, asked to support
that segment at a regional
level.
The WTU exhorts progressive
institutions of the continent to
join the demands of the
agricultural workers, Cardona
said.

World Trade Organization and the
Free Trade Treaties are part of
neoliberal globalization and
targets of dissent in Latin
