Costa Rica Shakes And Rolls
The Observatorio Vulcanológico y
Sismológio de Costa Rica (Ovsicori)
- the volcano and earthquake
institute - reports more than
1.163 earthquakes since the
beginning of the year.
However, during the first three
months of 2007, only 11 were
actually felt by the populace,
most of them in the Zona Sur
(southern zone) and Central
Pacific.
The Red Sismológica Nacional
says that 248 of the quakes were
superficial, while the rest
where of profound depths.
In March alone the country
shaked to 366 quakes.
