Good news, Gasoline Prices Keep
Falling
Today, the price of diesel came
down ¢19 colones following last
weeks approval by the Autoridad
Reguladora de Servicios Públicos
(Aresep). The price for a litre
of diesel is now ¢364 colones.
The good news gets better. The
Aresep yesterday approved
another round of price drops
requested by the Refinadora
Costarricense de Petroleo (Recope),
which will see the price of
diesel drop another ¢22 colones
within the coming week and ¢10
colones for the price of
compressed gas.
Recope says that price drop is
to reflect the variation in the
price of oil on international
markets.
