The Jack Parker Corporation Introduces Pacifico
The Jack Parker Corporation, a privately owned real estate development company with Florida headquarters in Fort Myers, has announced plans for Pacifico, a master-planned, mixed-use community located in Playas del Coco.

Encompassing 175 acres along Costa Rica's Northwest Pacific coast, the gated residential community and adjoining commercial center combine Mediterranean architecture and coastal design elements, resort-style amenities and modern conveniences with Costa Rica's primeval environment.

"We fully understand the importance of protection and preservation of our surroundings and Pacifico was master-planned with this in mind," states Kerry Trowbridge, senior vice president for The Jack Parker Corporation. "Much of the 175 acres at Pacifico is ecological green space and will never be developed, ensuring the area remains a sanctuary for the native wildlife, vegetation and of course, for our residents."

The 500 residences within Pacifico -- a combination of 350 condominiums, town homes, and villas; 20 rental apartments, and 150 single-family home sites -- will be built to U.S. standards, offering custom cabinetry, designer fixtures, brand name appliances, and pre-wired for phone, cable and Internet access.

Inclusive of home ownership is membership to the Pacifico Beach Club, with a restaurant and bar, and to the Health Club & Spa with tennis facilities. Additional amenities include a Members Club, sunset bar, waterfall pavilion, resort pools with sun deck and separate toddler pool, barbeque area, and a children's play area.

A 15,600 square foot Village Center located at Pacifico's entrance will house Costa Rica's only Robb & Stucky Design Studio, and other retail conveniences including a post office, coffee shop, art gallery, tour operator, and business services center. Also located in the Village Center will be a 20,000 square foot Auto Mercado, Costa Rica's premier grocery store. Additional retailers inside of Auto Mercado will include a dry cleaner, pharmacy and eateries.

"While the natural beauty of Costa Rica is the obvious appeal, we realize that in order to attract American buyers, modern conveniences are essential," says Trowbridge. "We specifically incorporated the Village Center into Pacifico to provide the services that U.S. homebuyers expect."

Playas del Coco is 22 miles from Liberia, the capital of the Guanacaste province. Nearby activities include sport fishing, surfing, sailing, kayaking, scuba diving, hiking or lounging on the beach. International airports in Liberia and San Jose offer non stop flights daily to and from major U.S. cities, including Miami.
