Colombia Intelligence Head Faces
Charges
The Attorney Generalīs Office
pressed several charges against
the Administrative Security
Department Director Jorge
Noguera, who should answer on
Thursday why he supplied
classified information to the
Colombian paramilitary agents.
The Attorney Generalīs Offivce
decided that the ex director of
the intelligence authority,
attached to the Colombian
presidency, would have
collaborated with groups of the
paramilitary Autodefensas Unidas
de Colombia (Colombiaīs United
Self Defense), through
information supply.
The Attorney Generalīs Office
decision also includes Giancarlo
Auque de Silvestri, as Security
Department General Secretary and
Intelligence director in charge
of that entity.
According to the decision, the
Attonet Genralīs Office is
investigating the possible
meetings that Noguera could have
held with paramilitary leaders.
