Winter travelers can take advantage of fares discounted at 10%  to 20% or more for travel between the United States and more than 45 Delta destinations in the Caribbean, Latin America, Mexico, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Customers should act fast, though, as tickets must be purchased at www.delta.com or from a travel agent by today - Nov. 10, 2006; all travel must be completed by Jan. 31, 2007.

The fare for a return flight from Atlanta to San Jos is us$229. A typical fare is more than us$500, higher as we enter the holiday season.

Lower priced fares are being offered to other destinations such as Aruba (us$179), Cozumel (us$139) and Managua (us$189).

Additional taxes, fees & restrictions apply.

Many of the flights on sale feature destinations added in the last year as part of the largest international expansion in Delta history, including Managua, Ponce and Aguadilla, Puerto Rico; and Roatan, Honduras, to name a few.

Across Latin America alone, Delta has added or announced more than 40 new routes in the last year, including upcoming inaugural flights between Atlanta and Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.
