Nicoya Peninsula Ferry Crossing Affected by Low Tide
The low tides predicted by the Instituto Meteorológico Nacional (IMN) means the suspension of a number of crossings by the Ferry Peninsular, that runs from Puntarenas to Paquera.

The ferry will not run today (Tuesday) from Paquera to Puntarenas on the 8:30am and 8:30pm run and from Puntarenas to Paquera on the 10:30am and 10:30pm runs.

The same will be on Wednesday and Thursday for the morning runs, however the 10:30pm will leave 1/2 hour ealier at 10:00pm.

According to Eddy Novo, manager for the Asociación de Desarrollo Integral de Desarrollo Integral de Paquera, the measure is precautionary and the notice is for people to be aware of the changes during the coming days so that they can plan their trip in advance.
