Weekend Executions and Attacks Seize Mexico
Eleven executions and two attacks on police stations by organized crime plunged Mexico in blood bath over the weekend.

La Jornada daily says four officials from the District Attorney's Office in Guerrero are among the 11 fatalities and their bodies were found charred inside a burnt van.

Unknown perpetrators launched a fragmentation grenade against two police stations in Zihuatanejo, Guerrero, leaving one wounded, and in Mexicali, Baja California, four people were shot including a bodyguard of Governor Eugenio Elorduy.

The other two bodies were found in Veracruz (one man shot to the neck and incinerated), and the other in Michoacan, Tierra Caliente.
