Rica remains business as usual.

Killer Behind Bars
Luis Fernando Burgos, accused of
killing his wife, Maureen
Hidalgo, went before judge José
Barleta of the the Juzgado Penal
de Alajuela and at 5:00am, was
ordered to six months of
preventive detention (jail).
Burgos faces a maximum of 35
years in prison if convicted.
Challenge for Tour Operators
The companies and tour operators

sector are facing several
challenges, particularly
regarding infrastructure and the
quality of service, according to
a study from the INCAE Business
School.
Biotechnology Centre
The Government of Costa Rica and
the European Union entered a
cooperation agreement through
