Morales: Bolivia Intends to be an Example
Bolivia intends to provide an example for other peoples by carrying out a peaceful, democratic and cultural revolution," declared President Evo Morales referring to the perspectives of the Constituent Assembly voted Sunday in that south American nation.

After exercising his right to vote in this locality mainly inhabited by coca leave producers, Morales highlighted the historical importance of this election and that of the referendum on departmental autonomies.

He stressed that through the development of a peaceful, democratic and cultural Revolution boosted by the Constituent Assembly, Bolivia intends to be an example for Latin America.

The Bolivian president expressed his satisfaction for what he called a democratic celebration and remarked the role of his administration and the social movements in achieving the referendum the people has tirelessly fought for.

The Constituent Assembly will set the people and natural resources free in thus it will guarantee development. Election results must be respected as they will determine the country"s new administration strategies, the dignitary asserted.

Evo Morales declined to comment on the opposition attacks. He said the campaign is already done and so the final decision is all up to the people.
