Argentina Pays IMF $80 Million
Argentina has paid a pending interest rate of $80 million to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) after the cancellation of all capital owed to that international institution , it was reported Sunday.

The payment corresponds to profits that were pending after the South American nation settled on January 3 all its debt with the IMF, which had risen to $9.53 billion.

The $80 million is the result of outlays the southern nation is paying this month, among interest and capital valued at almost $1.4 billion.
