It Is Official: Chavez Wins Again!
The President of Venezuela Hugo Chavez obtained a new mandate of six years today with 61.35 percent of the votes, according to preliminary reports from the National Electoral Board.

With 78.31 percent of the votes counted, Chavez and his socialist program has such a wide lead over his closest opponent, Zulia Gov. Manuel Rosales, who has 38.9 percent of the votes, it is considered a voter chasm practically impossible to close.
