2007 Yellow Pages Available Next
Month
The 2007 "yellow pages" is being
readied and will be on the
streets in January, says the
general manager of Telefónica
Amarilla, which will begin the
printing and distribution of the
500.000 telepone books in the
first week of the new year.
The Cruz Roja Costarricense (Red
Cross) will be distriubuting the
yellow pages door-to-door.
The 2007 yellow pages will also
be offered on a compact disc,
according to Alexander Morales,
that in addition will include 12
songs by national artists and
will cost ¢5.000 colones, which
sales will go directly to the
coffers of the Red Cross to help
out that institution. The
estimated net to the Red Cross
is ¢140 million colones
(us$272.000), in addition to the
¢100 million colones the Red
Cross will be paid for the
distribution work.
The yellow pages will also be
available online by way of the
internet, Morales said.
The 2007 yellow pages will also
included information on
government ministries, agencies,
institutions and municipalities.
The 2007 yellow pages is free to
all.
