Drug Money Captured in Nicaragua
The State Police of Nicaragua reported the discovery of two million dollars hidden in plastic bags in a truck coming from El Salvador.

Bank and Customs officials and the district attorney´s office participated in the count and supervision of the millionaire sum that is suspected belongs to international drug trafficking.

The truck was stopped and inspected at the border position of Peñas Blancas and went to Panama with a shipment of detergent, policy sources stated.

The driver was placed at the disposal of the attorney´s office; though he said he did not know the characteristics of his load.
