Chavez and Bolivia s Evo Morales
vowed for a speedy recovery of
Cuban leader Fidel Castro, who
underwent surgery from a sudden
intestinal crisis.
In his regular radio-TV Sunday
program "Alo Presidente," Chavez
received a phone call by Morales
and both expressed their
unconditional solidarity with
Cuba.
The two heads of State exchanged
words of encourage and wished
Fidel Castro resume soon his
duties leading the island.
The Cuban president
provisionally delegated his
responsibilities as leader of
State, government, the
Revolutionary Armed Forces
(FAR), and the Communist Party (PCC)
and other important programs to
Army Gen.
Raul Castro and other leaders in
the country.
The Bolivian statesman
highlighted changes implemented
in his nation, which will carry
out a constitutional reform for
an integral transformation in
the country, as well as Chavez
praised Bolivia s process and
stressed the Cuban leader s
historic figure.
